  artisan is a retail shop in Chagford, Devon in the Dartmoor National Park. We aim to offer you the best quality goods in leather, wood, silver and clay, as well as the best in local art. Our focus is mainly on functional items as we believe using beautiful objects in our everyday lives, is one of life's great pleasures.
 Our leather studio produces hand stitched belts, dog leads, dog collars, bags, phone holders, document cases and commission work. Martin also repairs your much loved leather bag belt or bridle. We work with other local artisans to offer you unique wooden fruit
 /salad bowls , plates, clocks candle holders, lovely pottery from which to serve your pasta, pour your tea or drink your coffee, felt chicken tea cosys and tuffets, forged ironwork and original local art. Jewellery for many of us, is also seen as an essential part of life, and we try to offer some of the best silver artisan jewellery produced in Devon.
Chagford is a unique place and produces unique objects.
